24.14 Fitch wraps up the season

Giants Head Coach Mike Fitchett joins Huw Beynon to wrap up the 2024 Nelson Giants season. The ups, the downs, the lols, the japes, and the plans for going forward. It's all discussed in this, the final episode of the 2024 season.

24.13 - Ingy and Grida Takeover!

With Huw and Phill away at U18 Nationals, Ingy and Grida takeover this week, and invite the two highlight merchants of the Giants to the Vukona Room - Kaleb Chamberlain and Kobe Langley. The lads knock off the usuals - Name That Giants, Go Giants Go etc - but also add their own flavour to the podcast. You don't want to miss this one shaggerroostersaurasrexes!

24.13 - Nick Davidson & Aston Inwood

Two stars of the championship winning Rapid League team, Nick Davidson and Aston Inwood, drop into the Vukona Room to talk about a successful season of Rapid League, the Giants home form, making the 6, Headmaster time-outs, and how their careers have progressed over the last year. Oh, and there's a quiz or two.

24.12 Theo Akwuba

Oooooh Theoooo Akwuuuuubaaaa - the big fella who has hit a rich vein of form for the NBS Nelson Giants joins Huw Beynon and Phill Jones for the latest episode of G.I.Antics. 
The guys learn about Theo's basketball journey, his world class signature (lol), and his thoughts on his time in Nelson so far. 
Also discerned, is how the Giants can make the 6, win 10k, and auction off some truly sublime jerseys. 
 

24.11 - Alex McNaught

Naught Naughty Alex McNaught, (individual player sponsor QuinDental) joins Huw Beynon and Phill Jones in the G.I.Antics studio off the back of his best game of the season. The Giants sit 6th on the ladder with 4 games to go, so the fellas talk about what needs to be done, how Alex ended up in Nelson in the first place, what the team do off the court, and there's a quiz or two thrown in for good measure.

24.10 - Dan Fotu

Daniel Joeli Fotu (for some reason Huw knows everyone's middle name) drops into the new look studio with Huw Beynon and Phill Jones, as the G.I.Antics crew catch up on all things NBS Nelson Giants. They talk about the upcoming celebration at the Trafalgar Centre, as well as how to stop the Rams, and what needs to happen to make the top 6. Also, a wig is tried on.

The first in our Throwback series, where Huw Beynon and Phill Jones catch up with former Giants. 7ft Tony Rampton had two stints at the Giants (2000, 2008-2009) and was one of the most dominant big men in the League. The Tall Black centurion took home the NZNBL 2000 MVP award. The guys talk memories, and see what Tony is up to now.
